Octocrylene sunscreen is an oil-soluble UV absorber with excellent UV protection, antioxidant properties, and compatibility with other skin care products. It is often added to sunscreens and other personal care products. It is insoluble in water and has the advantages of high absorption rate, no teratogenicity, good light and thermal stability. It can absorb UV-B and a small amount of UV-A, and is a Class I sunscreen approved by the US FDA.

Octocrylene Sunscreen benefits
Octocrylene sunscreen is a photostabilizer that absorbs and dissipates UV rays, providing protection against UVA and UVB rays, especially with strong absorption capacity for ultraviolet rays (UVB) in the wavelength range of 280~320nm.
